Beaird Dermatology Buildout

lobbyThe nearly 3,000 square foot designer medical dermatology boutique was built in 6 weeks. It is the most ecofriendly medical, surgical and aesthetic
dermatology practice of it’s kind. It includes 2 full surgical suites with MOHs capabilities, 1 room dedicated to laser treatments, 1 room dedicated to aesthetic, cosmetic and spa treatments, a CLIA compliant laboratory, a custom built checkin desk and a spacious waiting room. Each room is equipt with a surgical procedure light with a 9 foot span so every patient can receive a thorough full body skin check regardless of height, bodytype or physical capability. Each room also includes sound insulation inside each of the 4 walls as well as the ceiling to protect each patient’s HIPPA rights.

Beaird Dermatology Eco Plan

Beaird Dermatology reception areaThe facility was built with our children in mind. Every single light in the office is LED Class 2 compliant including surgical lamps, exits signs, emergency lighting and even the decorative light in the waiting room. All of the faucets are sourced from the United States (Kohler), most are motion sensitive and the toilet in the restroom is even dual flush to lessen the amount of wasted water. All of the cabinets and countertops outside of the patient rooms were saved from the landfill. They were meticulously removed from a former software design office and reconfigured to fit within the new practice.

Beaird Dermatology Patient Friendly

hoffman-buildingWe choose the building because of it’s ability to serve our patient population. It is high visibility at the corner of Interstate 90 and Highway 59. It is centrally located among the communities where our patients reside. Not only is it close to for our patients from Barrington, but our patients from Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Bartlett and even those from as far away as Elk Grove Village and Huntley. The building is very easy to access for the elderly and handicapped with several handicap spaces, a motion sensitive sliding front door and 2 elevators. We have even left the flooring in our office exposed (cement) to reduce risk for our elderly patients.
