Michael is board-certified physician assistant specializing in medical dermatology. He has practiced in Michigan, Indiana and Illinois. Michael graduated from University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and continued his education at Midwestern University where he achieved a Master's degree.
Since becoming a physician assistant, Michael has specialized in dermatology for more than 5 years, working for prominent dermatology clinics across the northern great lakes region. Michael draws on his extensive dermatology experience to provide accurate, comprehensive care plans for patients both young and old. He treats conditions ranging from acne and psoriasis to skin cancer.
Michael believes that open communication is the key to building a strong relationship with patients and addressing their needs. "Patients are not cookie-cutters and one size does not fit all. They are unique individuals who need a plan that works for their lifestyle," Michael notes. "By getting to know my patients, we can have an open conversation about what therapy works for you."
Besides treating skin conditions, Michael believes that "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." He regularly encourages patients to have yearly skin checks, especially those at higher risk and to be proactive about having moles or spots checked out as soon as possible.
